02What it involves

A slow walk through Rakchham and its neighbours with someone who grew up in them.

Traditional Kinnauri architecture, the water channels, the temple ground, and the everyday reasons all of it is where it is.

How we run it

  • 01

    Small groups

Six to ten people. We don't overcrowd the valley.

  • 02

    Local people

Guides, porters, cooks and partners come from the region.

  • 03

    Leave no trace

What comes with us goes back with us.

  • 04

    Sacred land

We respect grazing grounds, forests and sacred spaces.

  • 05

    Season matters

We don't force the mountain to operate on our calendar.
